Paris On Purpose

This trip was 100% planned unlike my trip to Paris in December.

I met Lauren, Lindsey & Jen (friends from PSU)  in Paris for the weekend.  Lauren lives there so we stayed at her apartment which is located in a great area and so convenient to everything!  Lindsey & Jen flew there from New York for their own EuroTrip (Paris, Berlin & London).

First stop when I got there was crepes for dinner at Creperie de Josselin and drinks at Le Ciel de Paris which is on the top floor of the Tour Montparnasse. The Eiffel Tower sparkles every hour and we were there to catch it so I took a video to share with you all.

The view was magical.  You could see most of Paris on such a clear night.  I don’t think the video does any justice so you’ll just have to go there yourself one day soon!

We headed back to the apartment to rest up for our day of visiting Palace of Versailles and sights in Paris.

A & J’s Big Adventure – Part 4/Plan B

Plan B was to book a flight to NY from Paris and spend a couple of days there as well.  The next flight out was on Wednesday so we had 2 days in Paris!

Paris doesn’t need words….only photos.

On Wednesday morning we successfully flew from Paris to New York and enjoyed our time with family and friends.  I don’t have any photos from the rest of our trip because my camera battery was dead and the charger was obviously left in London.

We are back in London and ready to take on the new year!

Sunday Brunch

Wendy lives in Notting Hill also so whenever I have a question she is the first person I ask.  In one of her emails she mentioned My Old Dutch as a place to pancakes so we headed there this past weekend.

We loved it!  The pancakes (more like crepes) were ENORMOUS and it was so hard to decide on which one to pick.  Jon went with a boring butter and maple syrup pancake where as I went with the compote of berries pancake.

I ate half of it before deciding a photo was necessary.  I know you are all craving pancakes now!
