Words Cannot Explain

Well we finally made it to the US.  Euro Disney looked like this.

So we were stuck there for an extra day.  Then London looked like this:

So we couldn’t go back to London so we went to Paris instead.

We made it to NYC via Charles de Gualle airport instead of Heathrow. Stayed in NY/NJ for a couple of days and then headed to Florida to visit more family and it’s freezing here.  Well we are in Florida but there is a huge blizzard in NY so our plans have changed again and we are headed back to NYC earlier than expected.

Snow has followed us around the world at this point and is out to get us!

2010 was not my year for flights.  I’m hoping 2011 will be a much better year for me in that aspect because we have a lot of traveling planned.

Off to the movies because what else do you do in cold Florida?!?!

Blackberries

I’m getting ready to head to the States for the holidays and packing is a mess.  I’m going to be in cold weather, freezing weather and warm weather.  How do I pack 1 suitcase for all of that?!?!

Well besides that I took out my US blackberry, turn it on and I got this.

AHHHHHHHHHH!

But don’t worry after 10 minutes it started up.  I guess it was just completely dead after not using it for 2 months.  All is ok though b/c it’s working and back in action so feel free to call, text or bbm when I’m home!!!

Another Trip To Borough Market

On one of my many trips to Borough Market I took a photo of these meringues. I can’t imagine eating one my self so I guess you buy one and break off pieces for your guests?! Either way I think they are so cool!

Would you by one if you saw these at your local market?

Little Kids Are So Cute

I saw this little boy walking around Notting Hill last weekend and he kept this toy hand on all afternoon.  So cute!

Everyone had something they wouldn’t let go of or take off when they were a kid.  For me I would say it was this blue dress that was my favorite.  I didn’t actually wear pants until I was in 1st grade!

Would This Make You Stop Smoking?

My friend brought cigarettes from Taiwan and when I saw the cartons I was in shock.

And on the other side….

That’s a pregnant woman’s belly.

Then I saw the cigarette’s in the UK and they look like this.

Aging (see how they spell it) of the skin can’t really be compared to the photos from Taiwan.

I don’t know any statistics but I really do wonder if these images have had a positive effect on anyone.

What do you think about these photos on cigarette packs?

Happy Holidays!

Shanna posted this video and I couldn’t help but share it here also.  I smiled throughout the entire video.

Happy Holidays from me and the happiest place on Earth, Penn State!!

A Glass Of Wine Anyone?

I was in Marks & Spencer last week and spotted this.

Pretty cool idea.  Just throw a couple in your purse for a night out or a picnic?!

I have no idea how the wine tastes tough so I don’t think you can be too picky if you re buying it prepackaged in a plastic glass.

Scottso Does London

We had another visitor 2 weeks ago, Scott.

That’s him at the Crypt of St. Martin.

Anyway, back to our weekend. We did a lot in 4 days.

He showed up with presents for us!!

Velveeta for Jon and paydays for me!!

First we went to Jon’s favorite Chinese restaurant near Baker Street for dinner on Thursday.

Then we went to Jon’s favorite dim sum restaurant in Chinatown for lunch on Friday.

I’m not sure if Scott isn’t enjoying himself, hates the Christmas Crown Jon got him or I just caught him at a bad moment.

After lunch we checked out the fountain at Trafalgar Square.

On Saturday the boys went to an Arsenal game while I cooked and baked for the Ugly Christmas Sweater party were were going to Saturday night.

How ugly are our sweaters?!  Scott definitely had the ugliest one there!

On Sunday we walked around London a little more.

Stopping at Westminster Abbey.

And Buckingham Palace.

We got dinner at another one of Jon’s favorite Thai restaurants (do you see a theme happening?!) and then Scott headed back to NY on Monday morning.

Such a great weekend!  I hope you enjoyed it Scott!

Got this in the mail yesterday.  Even though it was addressed to me I think they made a mistake.
